Econo 56 Egg Incubator

I am only beginning, so I do not have comments about other aspects, but the initial experience is frustration that the auto-turner motor is mounted above an egg cup in a tray, so a normal, standard-sized egg will not fit in that location. So, the max capacity is 55 rather than 56. It is a small matter, and possibly an issue I can custom-re-engineer, but this is a frustrating first-step discovery. Compared to online reviews, the design has been updated. This is worth mentioning as the online reviews call out design choices, such as the tray separating the egg-tray from the heater and fan has been redesigned to fit much more closely to the edges of the box to prevent chicks falling between.

This incubator will frustrate you to no end. The internal thermometer and hydrometer are wildly off and will cause a never ending alarm to beep until you hey the humidity up so high that it condenses on the plastic. The temperature has hotspots, so you have areas of 101 and 96 all at the same time. That said, when I let customer service know what was happening, they helped me with the situation. So while it is 1 star for the incubator, it is 10 stars for customer service. Thank you!
