Description

Stromberg’s Stand Up Chick Brooder is an excellent solution for brooding and raising your chicks! Keep debris off the floor and save space with this innovative brooder design. Chicks can easily be viewed through the perforated steel sides and top, making for simple and quick monitoring without lifting the lid. Add an infrared lamp to the convenient, built-in lampstand to provide chicks with heating when required. There is plenty of space for all the chick essentials – waterers, feeders, or even an additional brooder heat plate (all sold separately). When it comes time for cleaning, the Stromberg’s Stand Up Chick Brooder has a wire floor system and removable tray. Waste and droppings are passed through the wire floor and are easily cleaned by washing or wiping the removable tray. Assembly required.

  • Walls, roof-doors, and removable tray are made of galvanized steel sheeting.
  • Brooder has the capacity for up to 50 chicks (area of 0.47 m²). This provides ample space for a warm heated area and a room temperature area, allowing your birds to self-regulate their body temperature according to their needs.
  • Its upper and side plates, with Ø12.5 mm perforations, allow for an easy interior view and efficient ventilation. All this, plus preventing harmful air currents and access by rodents and other vermin.
  • Galvanized wire floor keeps animals out of the removable tray, keeping the brooder hygienic and easy to clean.
  • Can be set-up on a table or on the ground using the included 4 x galvanized tube legs.
  • 38.5"L x 18.5"W x 24"H (headroom height is 9.5")
  • Infrared lamp and bulbs are sold separately.

    Good brooder. Poor instructions.

by LINDA STUART on Mar 25, 2024

Received the brooder today. Fast delivery. The instructions were simple until we got to attaching the lid. Maybe it was us, but I rarely have a problem putting things together. However, we couldn’t attach the lid to brooder for anything. The instructions were just pictures with no written instructions and finally had to YouTube it, which still wasn’t very good directions. We finally had to jerryrig our own system, which worked. But the brooder is all setup now and am happy with it.

    Great brooder

I love these brooders. I had bought 1 a couple years ago and am purchasing another one. The pull out tray is great for quick clean out.
