The Northern Bobwhite’s journey from day-old chicks to fully matured birds is relatively quick. They reach full development in just 16 weeks and can be productive layers in just 24 weeks. These compact birds dress out at a practical 7-9 ounces, making them a favored choice for small-scale game bird farming.

Northern Bobwhite Quails adorn reddish-brown feathers, giving them excellent camouflage in grassy fields and piney woods. Their camouflage and excellent flying capabilities make them excellent game birds.

Shipping is included with all hatching eggs.
These items being sold are live fertile eggs. Hatching eggs do not ship immediately after an order is placed. Unless specific ship dates are provided when ordering, shipment dates are scheduled by our partner hatcheries. Your order will be placed in line for the next available shipment, and you will receive an email from Stromberg’s containing your scheduled shipment date as soon as that information becomes available from the hatchery.
These eggs are shipped seasonally and are generally shipped starting in April and ending when the birds stop laying eggs for the season. Both the start and end dates for shipments are dependent on the weather.
