Similar to other peafowl, these birds thrive in grasslands and are exceptional at hunting snakes. Their diet includes game bird pellets, ensuring they receive the necessary nutrients. When given the freedom to roam, peafowl prefer to roost high in trees. However, if kept in captivity, a netted top is essential, as they are skilled flyers.
