Description

The Comfort Chick Brooders provide a reliable and energy-efficient solution for raising healthy baby chicks and waterfowl, utilizing a heat plate design.

Unlike a traditional heat lamp or suspended infrared lamps, these brooder heat plates use a tenth of the electricity by allowing chicks to come into direct contact with the warm heat plates underneath. This design ensures your chicks stay warm without the safety risks and high costs.

Adjustable Brooder Plate Design for Growing Chicks

Equipped with adjustable legs, the brooder plate design adapts as your chicks grow. This feature allows the heating plate to maintain optimal contact with the chicks, keeping your chicks warm in your poultry-raising efforts.

Fire-Safe Alternative to Heat Lamps

Safety is a top priority, and this brooder excels by eliminating the fire hazard risks associated with traditional heat lamps, ensuring a safer environment for both your chickens and your facilities.

Serving as a reliable heat source in cold conditions, the chick brooder includes secure lids and a direct contact heating plate providing peace of mind by reducing the risk of barn fires.

Additional Convenience Features

The Comfort Chick Brooders are compatible with clear plastic covers to prevent chicks from climbing on top.

Consider pairing with our 1 Liter Drinking Bottle with Hinged Lid (PW313) to ensure your chick brooder setup is complete. The less energy used by these brooders also makes them an environmentally friendly choice compared to traditional lamps.

    Hot enough for quail

by Elisa on Sep 16, 2024

I've been hunting for a brooder plate hot enough for quail for a while now and I think I found it. The chicks seemed happy and warm and pretty much weaned themselves off it at 12 days old like they would if they had been hatched by a broody. The setting that worked best was to have it tilted with one side on the lowest setting and the other at the 3rd setting. That let the chicks find a spot a good temp.

    Heat plate

I’ve ordered three of these. They’re much cheaper than the same thing on a lot of other websites and function the same.
