In the next several months, things will be in full swing for the 2009 season. Many popular varieties sell out quickly so order early to avoid disappointment.

We do our best to give you a general guideline of bird production times. Please remember that Mother Nature is the final arbiter and changeable weather patterns greatly affect bird production. Spring reaches us late in the northern states.

Chick and egg orders are shipped on first come, first serve basis and as the flock produces. You may request a desired ship date, and we will try to get close to that date. You will be notified by mail of your expected ship date.

Common Chicken Breeds are hatching now. The 2009 pricing is on the web. Hatchery reserves right to substitute if necessary to expedite orders. Please specify NO Substitutions if you need to when you order. Breed availability updates are on the large fowl web page.

Limited Offering/Specialty Breeder Large Fowl start hatching Jan.until end of May. Our Specialty breeder is DONE for 2009. Still taking chick order from the commercial hatchery well into fall.

Large Fowl Chicken Eggs start shipping January until end of May. Done with chicken egg orders for 2009.

More Common Bantam Breeds are hatching now. Hatching weekly. Hatchery reserves the right to substitute to expedite order. Please specify NO substitutions if you need to when ordering.

of May. The specialty breeder is DONE for 2009. Bantam breeds from the commercial hatchery are still available.

Bantam Chicken Eggs start shipping Jan. until end of May. Chicken eggs are DONE for 2009.

Domestic Turkey breeds available starting mid March through later summer. Meat varieties Broad Breasted Bronze & Broad Breasted Whites DONE for 2009.
Royal Palms are DONE for 2009. Other turkey varieties are still available.

Domestic Turkey Eggs start shipping May thru beginning of July. Taking orders for shipment in 2009. Turkey eggs DONE for 2009.

Rio Grande Strain Wild Turkeys will start shipping April.

Eastern Strain Wild Turkey eggs start later May. Eastern Strain Wild turkey poults start in April. Taking orders now.

Common breeds start in February. Taking orders for 2009 hatches. Most common duck breeds go into mid summer. Mallards available into later fall. Duckling pricing for 2009 is posted on the duck web page.

We will offer Muscovy ducklings assortments and white Muscovy ducklings for 2009. Orders are filled first come, first served. Muscovy ducks are generally later producers, often well into summer for hatches. Still room for assorted muscovy ducklings orders.

Duck Eggs shipping now. We offer Pekin, Mallard, Rouen, F&W Indian Runner, Blue Swedish, Cayuga, Khaki Campbell and duck egg assortments.

Unfortunately we will not offer Call Duck eggs or ducklings for 2009.

Common domestic goslings start mid March through mid summer. 2009 pricing for domestic goslings and Canada goslings is posted on our web site.

Canada goslings are DONE for 2009.

We do not offer geese eggs.

Bobwhite Eggs start in April. Bobwhite Chicks start shipping May through the
later summer. Bobwhite chicks and eggs SOLD OUT.

Tennessee Red Eggs start mid May, chicks start shipping in June. Chicks and eggs SOLD OUT.

Cal. Valley & Gambel Eggs start mid May, chicks start shipping in June. We sell
out early. Order ahead. Ca. Valley, Gambel and Blue Scale chicks are DONE. Eggs are DONE for Ca. Valley, Gambel and Assorted Fancy package.

Both Blue Scale Eggs are DONE. Blue Scale chicks are DONE. Blue Scale chicks hatch in July. Limited production. Order early.

Coturnix Quail Eggs are shipping now. 12, 24 and 48 egg quantities available.
Chinese Button quail eggs assorted colors only.

Yearling Pheasants are available for spring shipment. Taking orders now. Shipping will be delayed until Fall due to summer heat.

Fancy pheasant eggs start shipping later April/May, flock production dependent.

Chinese Ringneck Eggs start later March and are now DONE. We will offer eggs of Melanistic Mutant pheasant and XL Ringneck pheasant for 2009 as well. These eggs are DONE.

Jumbo Ringneck & Buff Pheasant chicks start shipping in May. No eggs. Buff pheasants SOLD OUT. All fancy pheasant chicks and assortments are DONE for 2009.

Chinese Ringneck Pheasant chicks start shipping mid/late March through mid summer.Pheasant chicks are DONE. Eggs are DONE.

XL White, Bohemian Blackneck, Melanistic Mutant pheasant chicks start shipping mid April/May. Melanistic Mutant chicks/XL Ringneck pheasant chicks are DONE for 2009.

Chukar chicks start shipping mid May. Chukar eggs start April/May. Both eggs and chukar chicks DONE for 2009.

Hungarian Partridge Eggs, chicks and adults are NOT available in 2009.

Yearling pairs of Black Ducks, Mallards, Pintails, Wood Ducks and Mandarins are available for later fall shipping. No shipping during the summer months. Birds are reserved by payment-- first come, first served.
