An egg candling lamp which focuses a high intensify light beam through a solid acrylic cone lens. Provides intense, concentrated light with virtually no heat . Ideal for close inspection of vein and embryo growth. Uses halogen bulb, has a transformer.
For candling incubating eggs to determine whether embryos are developing. Maybe used also to check for blood spots in food eggs. Light of a 100 watt bulb comes through an orifice over which the egg is set. To prevent over heating, a hold down switch turns the light off after examination of each egg. 7 1/2" x 4 1/4" x 5" high.
